What can go wrong when you send your horse out to a 'breaker':
- The horse is too young - mentally and physically
- Ill-fitting tack
- Run into submission
- Too tired to learn
- Physical pain/soreness
- Worked for long periods
- Lessons are not sufficiently broken down
- Not teaching the behaviour you want
- Self-carriage not taught
- Not building YOUR bubble of communication
You have a responsibility to your horse to train it yourself.
