Meet Ash, he is a 12-year-old Standardbred who has been sitting in the paddock (putting on a few pounds, let's be honest) for the past 6 years.
His ower very kindly brought him to a clinic and allowed me to use him as a demonstration horse. Before teaching Ash Hips to the Fence, shown here, I had done 5 minutes of Give to the Bit. This taught Ash about softness in the bridle and to respond from a light cue.
